Hello, I'm Helen Davenport, the owner and hostess of Yoga Chicas. I have been in education for most of my professional career.

I came late to yoga after travelling to an eco ashram in Mysore India in 2016. There I met some beautiful and inspiring people who glowed with their passion and healthy bodies and minds.

It was only a natural thing for me to take 200hr yoga teacher training so I could get a better understanding of all its benefits.

I had suffered from various anti-inflammatory diseases for several years and was on a search to calm my body and my mind. I knew from the internet what my problems were....but I knew I needed to connect with people rather than computers to resolve them. 

We need people, preferably inspiring people!

So once I started to see great results physically and mentally (particularly helpful for me has been a consistent meditation practice), I decided to set up a yoga holiday haven on the island of Ibiza. Bringing in some lovely intuitive yoga teachers who love to get to know their students and interact with them.

Ibiza is a magical island, a jewel in the Mediterranean that has it all. 

Stunning white beaches, amazing flora and fauna, sun-filled days, shopping, fashion, rustic villages, super fresh food, boating, crystal waters and a hot night life. 

And now I have added a yoga deck we are ready to welcome the world to experience this inspiring location and help you to find the solutions you are seeking.



Jodie Scherr Yoga Retreat


Joey Scherr is a 500 hour accredited yoga instructor and a 200 hour accredited Sacred Feminine Facilitator. Expect fun, invigorating shapes, nourishing flows and deep connections. Even the stiffest bodies can join in and enjoy her classes while the most flexible can still feel challenged. Joey is available for Indian Head and Ayurvedic massage during the retreat.

Siobhan Power Yoga Retreat


Siobhan welcomes you to her vinyasa style flow classes which are joyously challenging yet relaxing. Fall in love with taking care of yourself, restore and nourish through mindfulness and pranayama.
Siobhan has been practicing yoga for over ten years and was classically trained with Ganga Devi in India. She holds her 200 hour YTT and hundreds of hours on the mat. Siobhan is available for massage.

Lila Whiting Yoga Retreat


Lila brings a playful spirit to her classes, encouraging students to find freedom and joy. Her classes focus on breath, enabling people to experience the healing effects of yoga. Expect hands-on assists to help you gain awareness of optimum alignment, increased stability and greater release. Lila is 200hr Hatha, 300hr Jivamukti and 200hr Forrest yoga teacher and is also a qualified Bodyworker.

Jess Fellows Yoga Retreat


Jess is 500 hour accredited yoga teacher interested in creating space within the body, mind and heart so that we allow ourselves to be open to all experiences and live more fully in the present. Her classes promote relaxation and awareness while building on strength and flexibility. The atmosphere in her classes is always relaxed, enabling her students to enjoy connecting their bodies with their breath.

Lila offered a sacred space where I was able to dive deeply into my practice working through mental and physical barriers. Lila embodies kindness and compassion and shows eternal gratitude which is inspiring. She has transformed my practice and I feel the strongest, healthiest and most focused I have ever felt. I love Lila’s teaching style, it is eclectic and she often has some surprises up her sleeve which keeps me on my toes. I particularly loved having a good old boogie before our inversion practice. Lila gives you the space and freedom to connect deeply to your own body and mind which is very powerful. At the end of the retreat I was brought to tears in eternal gratitude for such a selfless, inspiring woman.
